Kristen Argenio, the founder of Ideal Design, believes that non-profits and socially conscious businesses deserve more.

Kristen has over a decade of experience in the DC area design field, specializing in printed materials for large and small non-profits. But over time, she became frustrated by the costly overheads and environmental waste that were prevalent in the design industry. In 2006, she decided to form Ideal Design, a new firm with a different set of goals.

Kristen holds a B.A. in graphic design from Rochester Institute of Technology. Throughout her career, she has been active with the environmental, human and animal welfare movements, and serves on the board of Live Green—an organization that works to make eco-friendly living easier. As a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, Kristen continues to advance the cause of "greener" thinking within the professional design community.
